Objectives

We are seeking an Engineering Manager who can lead technical team across multiple projects with detailed responsibilities as below.

Job Description

Must have:

  • Hands-On Coding & Technical Leadership: Lead by example, contributing to the codebase while mentoring and guiding engineers. Stay actively involved in software development, resolving complex coding challenges, and ensuring high-quality, scalable code.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide strategic direction on system architecture, development frameworks, and operational processes, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient platforms.
  • DevOps & Automation: Drive the adoption and implementation of DevOps best practices across the engineering team. Oversee CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automation, and continuous integration/deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient development cycles.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and analytics teams to implement technologies that enhance marketing automation, CRM, and campaign performance measurement.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of team resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal team performance and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the adoption of new technologies, streamlining processes, and ensuring the team stays up-to-date with the latest industry practices.
  • Infrastructure & Security: Ensure that IT infrastructure, network architecture, and cloud services adhere to best practices in cybersecurity. Implement proactive measures to protect data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, CCPA).

  • Project Management: Oversee technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and quality standards, while aligning technology goals with overall business objectives.
  • Data Management: Develop and oversee data architecture, including databases, data warehouses, and analytics tools. Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of data while enabling insights through data-driven decision-making.
  • IT Management: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, network security, and efficient cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ensure the organization’s technology stack is reliable and secure.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure that IT, DevOps, and data practices comply with all relevant security standards and data protection regulations, mitigating risk and safeguarding company and customer information.
  • Vendor & Tool Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, especially in DevOps, cloud services, and data management tools, ensuring smooth integration and optimal performance.

Job Requirements

Skills & Knowledge & Qualification

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, IT, or data management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployments.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience in data management, data governance, and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience working in a marketing or digital agency environment is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, and data-driven marketing tools.
  • Strong project management skills with experience using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities.
