Objectives

PMAX Trainee Program is a fast-track internship program aiming to facilitate young talents with aggressive challenges yet remarkable journey and grow them into competent marketing experts & business leaders. Right now, we are looking for a Strategy Trainee who has a passion for developing total marketing solutions to impact deeply Brand Performance in general. As a Strategy Trainee, you will be trained to build strategic approaches for marketing campaigns including combining market data, in-depth research and vertical knowledge with a view to targeting the right audience, appropriate channels, as well as driving the key message of the campaign.

Job Description

Research & Analysis:

  • Assist the project team to debrief and clarify the clients’ needs, thereby prioritizing necessary information that requires further research
  • Research, synthesize, analyze and gain in-depth information about market/category/brand/consumer insights to develop effectively strategic approach

Planning:

  • Understand, assess the quality of brief and support in proposing a relevant solution for clients by combining vertical knowledge and product of the function
  • Understand and propose appropriate communication channels in developing strategic approach for solutions/products  which get customers’ deliverables
  • Work closely with project team to conduct each strategy planning steps of the whole progress, with guidance from Line Manager
  • Communicate with internal teams and clients to gather input and feedback from clients to adjust plan

Visualization & Presentation:

  • Contribute to the ideation and brainstorm the layout of proposal for the campaign, ensuring to meet clients needs
  • Support in preparation of materials and participate in presentations for both client and internal meetings.

Job Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Qualification

Must have:

  • 3rd/4th-year student or fresh graduate majoring in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration/… or any related fields and able to work full-time
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A passion for data & numbers, insights, and ideation
  • Have strong curiosity, common sense & hunger to learn new things
  • Strong research and analytical skill
  • Ability to handle pressure under rushed deadlines
  • Have a can-do attitude and be open to new challenges

Good to have:

  • Experience in digital marketing/strategic planning role
  • Have been involved in project planning of different categories
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are crucial, both in Vietnamese and English
