OBJECTIVES
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Development Trainee who has strong interpersonal and communication skills, a good problem-solving mindset with solid knowledge of digital marketing to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with our experienced Business Development Manager/Lead to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our organization.
As a part of our Business Development Trainee Program, you will be equipped with a range of knowledge and skill sets necessary to succeed in the field of business development through 12 months of training, coaching, and hands-on experience. JOB DESCRIPTION
PHASE 1: TRAINEE (6 months)
- Research and Insight generation:
-
- Research potential leads/clients for each key vertical/industry following the sales direction of the vertical/industry.
- Research contacts and generate valuable insight about potential leads/clients following PMAX’s BD list to support the upper funnel of the sales process.
- Collect intelligence related to the demand, market, and competitors through daily activities to continuously upgrade the strategies and share insight to other teams within the vertical (e.g. Product teams, Account team, etc.)
- Sales process optimization:

- Develop and upgrade sales materials (sales script, templates, documents, credentials, etc.) for each vertical, solution, and product.
- Support BD Reps to update and QC clients’ data in PMAX’s CRM system when needed.
- Support BD Reps to prepare client meetings both online & offline.
- Other duties as assigned by the line manager.
PHASE 2: ASSOCIATE EXECUTIVE (6 months)
- Sales approach & Client acquisition:

- Approach and nurture leads to create sales opportunities and coordinate with the team to convert the clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Manage effectively the sales process through prospect development, proposal, presentation and closing negotiations to achieve company goals.

- Must have:
- Bachelor degree major in Business Administration/Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Strong research skills.
- Be able to work both independently and in a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, can-do attitude, brings optimism and positive energy to the team.
- Willing to learn and challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone.
- Good to have:
