OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a Strategic Planning Director who has a passion for developing brand and communications strategies, strong business acumen, passion for developing total marketing solutions to impact deeply Brand Performance in general. You will be an important piece of the puzzle to our Strategy team, together with driving outstanding business results for PMAX.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop overall strategic direction for the proposal
- In charge of collecting data and analyzing, getting the right and digging down consumers’ insights
- Write creative brief and propose creative directions to creative team
- Develop communication approach/plan
- Coordinate with Creative/Media/Account to detail out proposal details, media plan (budget KPIs …)
- Join in research and development of better solutions and services for the company
- Present to clients and sell the service
- Consult with clients and build long term relationships/partnership
- Develop PMax’s internal strategy
- Build strategy team, including team members, system, process, frameworks, methodology, knowledge library
- Develop and package strategy solutions/services to sell to clients
- Push strategy as a business line, i.e. push sales revenue and be responsible for P&L
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Skills & Qualifications
- More than 4 years of experience, having a research background with excellent problem solving capability; or strategic planning background with strong advertising/creative/IMC expertise.
- Experience in a senior Planning role within an integrated marketing communications (IMC) agency or research agency is a big plus.
- A solid background in developing brand and communications strategies across a variety of client sectors and marketing channels both on and offline
- A strong understanding of core best practice strategic planning skills and tools
- Comprehensive understanding of the changing media landscape and new digital engagement techniques
- Good knowledge of the media and how strategic planning influences it
- Understanding business and marketing strategy is a big plus
- Excellent problem solving capability
- Track record of building team(s) and people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
